Happy Mush Christmas

Today is the last day of the Italian Festival here in Nonantum. To you that might not mean much, but to us mushes, it’s a second Christmas. The Italian festival is more than a carnival… It’s tradition, it’s community, it’s a sense of belonging, it’s seeing old friends, and it really is our second Christmas. People who went as kids are taking their kids. Today you will see old Italian women praying and young children playing. So make your way to The Lake because it’s a full day of celebration.
