Newton has a long history of culture and it is important not to forget those who helped build the cultural reputation. We want to keep everyone updated on legends of Newton’s past. In the first segment of the Newton Legends Where Are They Now series, we sat down with Two Time HIgh School Basketball State Champion from Newton North, Anthony Gurley. He led the Tigers to back to back state championships in 2005-2006, and has played at the college level, and in Europe. Anthony is doing big things still.
