-With Cano and Jeter both gone, they have to completely rebuild that infield.

7) He stole the spotlight from Nomar

-Nomar and Jeter were both in their primes at the same time. Nomar deserved his own spotlight, but Jeter was always stealing it from him.

-How funny would it be for A-Rod to come back as the starting Shortsop for the Yankees in 2015. If they have no other option…this could happen, and they would be a laughingstock.

-This farewell tour that he’s about to go on is going to be brutal. Every team will be honoring him, presenting him with gifts, showing his highlights, and basically sucking his dick. Mariano Rivera’s farewell tour on steroids.

-Countless clutch hits against the Sox. Always scared to pitch against Jeter in the playoffs, luckily now he, and most likely the Yankees, will be nowhere near playoff baseball.

1) He did not need to dive in the stands!

-Always had a flare for the overdramatics. This play got him so much pley, so many burgahs, and so many highlights. I’ve seen this play every time the Sox/Yanks play, and every time I think it wasnt that difficult of a catch. He definitely could have slowed down and fell to the ground.
