As I did not have access to the State of the Union speech last night, I read a synopsis of last nights speech from Obama. First off, I’d like to say kudos to president Obama for standing his ground and continuing to try to implement a better overall welfare for our citizens at a time where this country is very ambivalent about his policies. Hopefully his speech can come true and 2014 can bring us a great year.
Now, let’s focus on the shout out that president Obama gave to the speaker of the house, John Boehner. May I praise president again for publicly complimenting Boehner, a Republican, at a time where partisan politics is dividing this country immensely.   Boehner gave Obama a thumbs up, but his obvious blush seemed like it was a little more than that. Was there an overtone to this? Did John Boehner get butterflies in his stomach? Does he secretly want Obama to rub  his culture? What would Michelle think of this? Let me know what you guys think.
