I’m currently passing through the Miami airport, and legitimately all I hear is Spanish. Obviously, it’s the stereotype, but I feel like people look at me funny when I speak English…Like I just had to check my bag in Spanish. And my Spanish is actually just English, but slower and louder. I’m pretty sure I’m in my own country, right? I feel like there’s some big inside joke that I’m not in on. Miami is actually it’s own country comprised of Spanish people. No particular country of origin. Just Spanish.
On a side note, it is kinda cool that all these different Spanish cultures are here at one time. Not that I would be able to identify them.. Maybe they’re all Cuban. I’m not really sure.
