Carolina has battled back to win 11 out of their last 12 and they still do not get the respect they deserve. This is a playoff football team if Ive ever seen one. Physical defense, dynamic running game, and momentum.

-After week 5 the panthers have not allowed an opponent to score more than 2 touchdowns per game.  Pro bowl defensive end Greg Hardy is an absolute savage and should be able to prevent the nifty Kaepernick from sneaking outside the pocket.

-Carolina linebackers Kuechly and Davis have been excellent in the pass coverage all year so good luck on finding prime real estate in the zone. For Kaepernick to win he will have to attack the outside and throw the ball over the top on the shaky secondary. Boldin and Crabtree are physical receivers, but they dont have the over the top threat that could cause real problems for this defense.

-SLAM Cam Battering Ram Newton and the wrecking ball Mike Tolbert will overpower the 49ers front seven. Lead draws and power plays all day. Without veteran Steve smith look for Carolina too kill clock and pound rock.

-Carlos Rogers- starting corner for San Fran- injured and ruled out of this game. Makes up for absence of Steve Smith. Ted Ginn Jr, the man who should be amazing but has always been just mediocre, could fill the shoes of Steve and provide similar style of pleyyy.

Carolina is built for playoff football. 49ers offense has become a little too predictable with the read options, and the Carolina D is gonna tear them apart.
